What is a verified musician?

When they join the platform, musicians are tested to ensure the quality of their work meets our standards. Passing this test makes someone a ‘verified’ musician. Once they are verified, they can begin to sell and bid on requests on the platform.

How can I become a verified musician?

If your primary goal is to sell scores, you may sign up here and begin uploading your scores without any additional review.

However, if you wish to work on our customers' transcription requests, kindly create an account here. To be eligible to fulfill these requests, you will be required to upload two samples of your work to your PaidTabs account. After you have completed this step, simply click the "Submit Verification" button at the top of the transcription page. Our team will promptly review your submission and verify your account within 72 hours.

What is a Quality Score?

A musician’s Quality Score represents their overall performance on the platform. It is calculated using a combination of their recent customer feedback and the test score they achieved during registration. Failure to meet deadlines or customer refund requests may negatively impact this score. Customers can view a musician’s Quality Score when the musician submits a bid on a request (e.g., Quality Score: 4.7 / 5).

Why is the Quality Score important?

The Quality Score helps customers set expectations regarding the quality and reliability of a musician’s work. For reference, the score can be interpreted as a percentage by multiplying it by 20 (e.g., 4.7 × 20 = 94%). If adjustments are needed, customers can request revisions to ensure the final result meets their expectations.
