Fall of Giants is the title of a book of Ken Follett. In the first part a special occasion in The Great War is described.
It is Christmas 1914 and all is quiet at the front. When an officer checks the enemy he sees people standing and talking in no-man's-land. British and German soldiers were drinking wine and chatting with each other. A seize of fire on a special day: Christmas.
